Recruiting Report: Devon Dunn (2019)
Devon Dunn, a class of 2019 guard at St. John’s College High School, is seeing an uptick in his recruitment during recent weeks. Dunn, a sharpshooter who brings experience to a youthful roster, will be asked to provide leadership and solid guard play this year. During a recent interview with Prep Hoops, he reflected on his goals and overall game among other topics.
PH: What’s the most improved part of your overall game?
DD: “Ball handing. Being more comfortable with the ball.”
PH: What schools are currently recruiting you hardest?
DD: “Fairleigh Dickinson, St. Thomas Aquinas, I’ve been talking to Campbell, Millersville, Stone Hill, and Shepherd.”
PH: What’s your GPA and SAT Score?
DD: “3.4, and 1190.”
PH: What’s the timetable looking like for your decision?
DD: “Probably before the season. I’m thinking late November, beginning of December.”
PH: Are you planning any upcoming visits?
DD: “Yeah. I’m going to FDU for an official visit in the net couple of weeks.”
PH: What are your short and long term goals?
DD: “Short term goals are to win as many games as possible and go for the WCAC Championship. Long term goals are to go to college and win championships there.”
PH: What do you think you can bring to a college program?
DD: “Leadership. A combo guard who can score. Dish the ball. A great all around player.”
