Recruiting Report: Bradley Winter (2019)
Winona power forward Bradley Winter had a fantastic 17u season and we think he is going to have a fantastic senior season. We caught up with Winter today.
Winter scored a dozen a game for the Winhawks as a junior during a tumultuous season and then followed that up with a fantastic year with Minnesota Select. That’s led to a nice recruitment and high expectations for his senior season.
“I just cant wait to get going again,” Winter said. “I have been getting stronger and working on my game a lot more. It also helps that we will have a lot return again for this season.”
Great memories from the junior year? It was a tough season for Winona but Bradley recalls one moment that stood out.
“Last year during the season at Austin high school I threw down a nice two hand dunk and shut up their fan section and we went on a short run after that.”
Winter has taken three visits to local programs who all are putting in a great effort to try and land the 6-foot-6/6-foot-7 forward.
“I have already visited Augsburg, Waldorf and Hamline and I have played basketball with their guys as well,” Winter said.
Bradley has the talent to be an All Big Nine talent and maybe a Class AAA all-state player. For that to happen what does he need to do to get better?
“As a player I want to improve my dribbling and shooting,” Bradley said. “As a team I want to improve our record and make a run for state.”
