Prospects that colleges should be adding to their list
2020 Overhills HS Guard Jase Ford: He has done just abut everything you could ask of him over the past months. Each event that he has attended he has dominated, he can score the ball at a very high level and plays the game with confidence. Expect for him to have a big time season this year and to pick up quite a bit of interest from colleges, D2 schools should be calling already.
2019 71st HS Forward Brion McLaurin: He had a very successful spring and summer in 2018 and we expect him to continue that play during the high school season. Good height at 6’6 ish, he can knock down the deep ball and doesn’t mind mixing it up inside with he needs to. Just the other night he picked up an offer from Fayetteville State University, which we feel is a good level for him.
2020 Fayetteville Christian Forward Jaden Scriven:He made the move over to FCS this offseason and will be playing against some of the top talent in the area and the state. He can play multiple positions, has good upper body strength and a smooth jump shot.
2019 Trinity Christian Guard KJ Marshall: One of the more experienced and mature players in the area, he has been logging varsity mins for Trinity for a while now. He can knock down shots, run a team , and excels when the game gets into an uptempo style.
2019 New Life Christian Forward/Center Jalen Love: JUCO programs should be monitoring him very closely, he still has a way to go to be a fully complete player but is a nice prospect overall. He has the height at 6’7 and shows flashes of how good he can be, rebounding is where he is affective.
2019 Vance HS Guard Corey Baldwin: He has good size for a player at the PG spot and a nice IQ for the game. He doesn’t force plays and doesn’t allow defenders to speed him up or throw him off of what he is trying to do. Last season he was efficient putting up 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 Assist per game .
