Prospect Spotlight: Jules Bikoy (2020)
Jules Bikoy, a class of 2020 guard at St. Mary’s Ryken, has showed flashes of brilliance this offseason. As the best on-ball defender for St. Mary’s Ryken, Bikoy will probably match up with the opposing team’s best perimeter player this season, and we think he is ready for that challenge. During a recent interview with Prep Hoops, he talked a little bit about his recruitment while touching on his overall game, and goals.
PH: Which schools are showing interest in you right now?
JB: “UNC Greensboro, UAB, UMass-Lowell, and Lehigh.”
PH: What’s the most improved part of your overall game?
JB: “I’ve improved as a leader. My ball-handling and three point shooting have also improved.”
PH: What do you need to work on right now?
JB: “I’m working on a little bit of everything. Definitely ball-handling and different finishes around the basket.”
PH: What’s underrated about your game right now?
JB: “My passing. I’m also always talking on the court.”
PH: What are your short term goals?
JB: “To get this team to the WCAC playoffs and see what we can do.”
PH: What are your long term goals?
JB: “To go D1. High Major or Mid Major.”
PH: What do you think you can bring to a program?
JB: “Leadership. Somebody who’s going to work hard every single day, and somebody who’s going to give everything they’ve got, encourage their teammates, and make them better.”
