Prospect Spotlight: Chris Milton (2020)
Chris Milton, a 6-foot-5 wing prospect from St. Stephens & St. Agnes School, has put together a strong body of work after a productive summer, and looks poised to produce this season. Since performing well at the IAC Combine, we’ve seen Milton stand out in open gym with his high school team, and this leads us to believe he will carry this momentum into the season. During our recent interview, he spoke a bit on his overall game and goals among other topics.
PH: For those who haven’t seen you play, how would you describe your game?
CM: “I get to the basket. I attack the basket hard, take pride in my defense, and I’m just trying to make my teammates better.”
PH: What are the most improved aspects of your overall game?
CM: “Over the summer I think my jump shot improved the most. I really been working on pull-up, catch and shoot. Working on defense as well.”
PH: What’s your GPA?
CM: “I have a 3.3 GPA.”
PH: What do you think you need to work on?
CM: “I need to work on finishing strong at the basket.”
PH: “What’s the most underrated part of your game?
CM: “My jump shot.”
PH: What are your short and long-term goals?
CM: “Long term, make it to a division one college and play. Short term, to get quality playing minutes this season and receive an offer.”
PH: Who is recruiting you right now?
CM: “St. Mary’s and Salisbury a little bit.”
PH: What do you think you can bring to a college program?
CM: “I can bring energy, effort, defense, offense. I can attack, I can finish.”
