Preseason Class AAA All State
Who is the Best of Class AAA basketball talent wise? Today our Class AAA preseason All State team was named.
The Starters
Jamison Battle of DeLaSalle (12). A George Washington commit with one of the best shooting touches in the nation when you compare senior frontcourt players.
Matthew Johnson of Fergus Falls (12). Johnson is one of the toughest, most dependable, skilled players out there. Headed to U of Mary.
Tyrell Terry of DeLaSalle (12). A top 100 ranked player headed to Stanford next year, Terry has two state titles to his name.
Jack Thompson of St. Thomas (12). Thompson has led STA to state the last two seasons and his goal is a third, with a title push.
Malik Willingham of Waseca (12). Malik will be one of the leading scorers in the state and that’s something you can count on.
Bench Five
Matthew Onken of Marshall (12). Onken is one of the best two low post players in all of Class AAA basketball.
J’Vonne Hadley of Mahtomedi (11). Hadley led the Zephyrs in scoring last year and looks to be the best junior player in Class AAA this season.
Jalen Justice of Robbinsdale Cooper (12). Committed to Pittsburgh State (KS), Jalen is one of the smoother scorers in the metro.
Deszi Sims of Minneapolis Roosevelt (12). Put up 26 points per game last season and has a chance to be a 30ppg guy as a senior.
Jon Stimmler of Princeton (12). The most physically productive Class AAA player in Minnesota should force his way to big numbers.
