The talent at the Class AA level is as high as it’s been since I’ve covered Minnesota High School Hoops.  Here is the Class AA Preseason All State Team.

The Starters

Brandon Adelman of New London-Spicer (12). Brandon committed to St. Cloud State and is ready to lead a top ten team on a run.

Noah Chistensen of Breckenridge (12). The NDSU committed forward has taken Breckenridge to the state tournament the last two years.

Noah King of Caledonia (11).  A bulldog of a guard who scored 17 a game for the state runner-up in Class AA last year.

David Roddy of Breck (12).  A high major offered monster number producer who will likely have Class AA’s best stat line.

Jalen Suggs of Minnehaha Academy (11).  A five star guard with two state titles and one of the best offer lists of any American junior.

The Bench Five

Nathan Heise of Lake City (11). One of the state’s elite shooters scored 17 a game last year and his team will be top five in AA.

Chet Holmgren of Minnehaha Academy (10). A nationally ranked sophomore with a high major offer list, ready for a huge year.

Dylan DeChampeau of Greenway (11). Led a four loss team with 22 a game and a double-double average as a sophomore.

Jenson Beachy of Perham (12). Led a 1-loss team in scoring, assists, and steals as a junior.

Eli Campbell of Minneapolis North (12). The top returning scorer for the Polars, Eli scored a dozen a game last year on a stacked team.

Next Five Up

Nick Schaefer of St. Cloud Cathedral (12).

Josh Jeziorski of Perham (12).

Camden Arndt of Morris Area (12).

Kaden Johnson of Minnehaha Academy (11).

Owen Boerema of Litchfield (12).
