Dylan Dawson / 6’2″ / SG / Humble Atascocita / Level: Low-Mid Major
Strengths:
- True combo guard that can play on and off the ball; spaces the floor and hits catch and shoot threes; scores off dribble pull-ups in the mid range
- Has the potential to be a good two-way player at the next level; love his ability to defend
- Wiry strong; has upside from the two-guard position; shown the ability to run the point and create for teammates
Weaknesses:
- Needs to turn the flashes he has shown into consistent production; has started to make it happen, but needs to continue the trend
- Body language; can look disinterested on the floor at times
Derek Luna / 6’1″ / SG / Duncanville / Level: Division II-Low Major
Strengths:
- Elite shooter from very deep range; takes good spot-up jumpshots; pretty from stroke from deep; knows how to get himself open from beyond the arc
- Can be a secondary ball-handler; always looks to make the right pass;
- Strong body; can play physical off the ball
Weaknesses:
- Needs to continue to improve handling the ball under the pressure; at times will over facilitate and force the action
- Needs to stay in shape; Needs to show more effort on the defensive side of the floor
Jeffrey Mills / 6’3″ / SG / Flower Mound / Level: Low-Mid Major
Strengths:
- Has good size at the two guard spot; can stroke it from deep
- Very smooth in his movements on the floor; effortlessly creates shots for himself on the outside
- Has added to bag; new and improved perimeter game of the dribble
- Willing passer’ moves well without the ball in his hands
Weaknesses:
- Needs to be stronger with the ball; lacks a killer instinct or scorers mentality
- Consistent nonchalant approach on the floor; moves stiff; seems to lack hip flexibility
