Strengths:
- Long and athletic hybrid forward who is active on both ends; plays with a lot of energy; is all over the basketball court
- Scores in the paint off dump-off passes; can step out and hit the open three
- Decent passer; looks to make the right play offensively
- Can play inside and out; capable of putting the ball on the floor and attacking off the wing; Will rebound
Weaknesses:
- Plays physical but still needs to add strength
- Inconsistent offensively; needs to look to play at his best each time he takes the court
- Body language; attitude
Christian Turner / 6’6″ / PF / South Grand Prairie / Level: Low-Mid Major Minus
Strengths:
- Long stretch four-man who spaces the floor and hits open catch and shoot jumpers from the outside
- Length defensively is intriguing
- Can score under the rim; finishes around the basket
Weaknesses:
- Length defensively is intriguing, but does not utilize it
- Can be one dimensional offensively; has games where he only hangs around the the three-point line and is not a factor
Jay Wilson / 6’7″ / PF / Denton Ryan / Level: Mid-High Major Minus
Strengths:
- Combo-forward with tremendous upside; capable of playing the role of a slasher on the wing and is tough to contain in the paint
- Target for garbage points; gets a lot of and-ones playing through contact
- Very active on the offensive and defensive glass; Runs his lanes really well; is very fast sprinting up the court
- Finishes strong off the screen and roll; plays above the rim
Weaknesses:
- Needs to continue to work on skills on the perimeter
- Has chance to be a solid on and off ball defender; must improve defensive awareness and fine-tune defensive skillset
