Pangos Day 1 Texas Standouts
Arthur Kaluma / 6’7″ / SF / Universal Academy / 2021
Kaluma was very hard to guard on the offensive end, shot it well and had some powerful slashes to the rim. He played the first game like he had something to prove, no one and I mean no one was able to guard him. Arthur has a mature game for his age.
Keyonte George / 6’2″ / PG / Lewisville / 2022
There was no better scorer than Keyonte George on Day 1, the baby face guard scored off of 2 dribble pull-ups, off the catch and also strong scores at the rim after he broke defenders down with good dribble combination moves. He plays at his own pace and doesn’t always look like he’s trying but his opponents are still unable to prevent the highly skilled freshman from scoring. Keyonte already has division 1 offers at this point and he doesn’t look like he’s content still showing that he is one of the best scorers in his class.
Jonathan Massie / 6’2″ / SG / Atascocita / 2021
Massie teamed up with Kaluma on Day 1 of the Pangos, and was impressive in his own right. The Houston Guard constantly broke down defenders on the offensive end where he created scoring opportunities for himself and others. He had a very good weekend and I was shocked that he wasn’t selected to play in the Top 60 game.
Josh Farmer / 6’8″ / PF / Sharpstown / 2021
Mr. Farmer may have been the biggest surprise of Day 1 of the Pangos All South Camp. The versatile forward is athletic and runs the floor well, a powerful finisher that will rebound and take you off the bounce or post you up. Farmer has no offers at this time but Coaches will be inquiring very soon about the talented young 4 man.
