North Carolina 1st Team All-State Predictions (Public)
The season is almost here and it’s time to start thinking about All-State teams. Here is a look at the early All-State team for North Carolina.
1st Team
Wendell Moore (Cox Mill HS) Duke commit-The top ranked player in the state, Moore is a player that can affect the game in so many ways. He is a scorer, understands the game, has a high basketball IQ, is a winner (last two state titles belong to Cox Mill), can defend, rebounds well, gets to the rim, can score from all three levels.
Patrick Williams (West Charlotte) Florida State commit-Williams is a guy that is similar to Moore that can do a lot of things other than just scoring the basketball. He is a gifted athlete with great size, he can play and defend multiple positions on the floor, he is able to score in the paint and score out past the three-point line. He is a big shouldered wing that can pass really well for his size.
Kadin Shedrick (Holly Springs HS) Committed to Virginia-Probably a kid that picked up more attention over the summer than anyone, Shedrick is a skilled big man that fits the Virginia system perfectly. He is a high-level student and can score well with his back to the basket but is able to step out and stretch the floor.
Keyshaun Langley (SW Guilford) Committed to UNC-Greensboro-A one-two punch for SW Guilford along with his brother Kobe, Keyshaun is a scoring guard that can fill it up and is quick as lightning with the ball in his hands. He is a strong defender that keeps his man in front.
Justin McKoy (Panther Creek)-Committed to Penn State-McKoy chose Penn State over a host of other schools after a strong summer. He is a player that rebounds his area well, makes good decisions, can score in the paint and does a good job defending. He is strong and moves well without the ball.
