Intro: Kevin Bozeman (2021)
Despite not starting for Breakaway 15U during July we believed that Downers Grove North 2021 face up power forward Kevin Bozeman was the best prospect on that team which thrived at the Chicago Summer Challenge to close out July. It showed through again when we watched him work out this fall. So projectable at 6’5” with long arms. Definitely could see him growing several more inches. Frame to add strength as well. He handles the ball well for his size and runs the floor so fluidly being the first one down the court consistently. Feathery touch as a shooter. Prototype four man in today’s game.
He discussed his spring and summer.
“The spring and summer I didn’t really play that well. Played more in the post. Not the position I wanted to play. During the high school season and workouts I got better on my ball handling.”
Where is his game at this stage?
“Right now it is really body work so I am able to drive the ball in and do a little post work. I can do catch and shoot or one dribble pull up. I am also a pretty good passer.”
Bozeman is excited for this upcoming season.
“I am looking forward to winning conference with the team. We have a really good team this year.”
