Duncanville Fall League Shootout: Hidden Gems
Jaedaun Slack /6’5 / Forward / Arlington
2020 Forward looks like a football player at first glance but that thought quickly changes wants the game starts. Slack is a strong body 4 man that likes to face up in attack the rim off the dribble. He showed that he can also hit mid range jumpers when set, he hit the game winner versus Wt White in Sudden Death of the Duncanville Fall Shootout. Slack has a chance to be a good prospect if he continues to work on his athleticism and improve his skill.
Robert Banks / 6’6″ / PF / Duncanville
2019 Banks was an absolute surprise for me because I knew about the talented guards that Duncanville had but had no clue who this 6ft.6 Forward was until I saw him play. Robert was very active down low for his team and he didn’t have a problem rebounding or doing the little things his team needed him to do. He also showed the ability to knock down jumpers.
Kyree Rogers / 6’3″ / Forward / Carter
Although Mr. Rogers is a bit undersized for his position, he was able to affect the game on both ends of the floor. The 2019 6ft.3 Forward has a high motor, that plays with a mixture of toughness and athleticism. Carter went undefeated in the Duncanville Fall League, and wouldn’t have been up to accomplish that without the play of Kyree Rogers. He was a sixth man last year, but this year he will be counted on as one of the leaders for his team.
Julien Smith / 6’2″ / CG / Northwest
Smith a 6ft.2 2020 Combo Guard displayed the ability to score from all three levels, you can tell that Julien notices who is on him because he doesn’t have a problem with consistently going at a defender if he believes that he has an advantage.
