Connor LeBrun Commits To Dakota State
Flandreau senior guard Connor LeBrun commits to play college basketball at Dakota State next season. We talked with LeBrun about the process going into the decision and more.
Connor LeBrun is the 30th ranked player in the class of 2019 in our SD 2019 Rankings.
PHD: What made the decision to go and play at Dakota State?
CL: The coaching staff is awesome at DSU and they have a really nice campus. I chose them over other colleges because it was close to home and their technology program is really good.
PHD: How excited are you to be going to Dakota State for basketball?
CL: I’m very excited to be going to DSU. I’m really looking forward to playing with those guys.
PHD: What do you expect out of yourself and your team this final year?
CL: This year, I expect my team to give it our all and try and win as many games as possible.
The Flandreau Fliers will start their season on December 7th against Chester Area and then will host a very tough Tea Area team on the 11th. Tea Area has four returning starters from last years second place finish at state. The Fliers will look to the younger LeBrun brother for the bulk of the scoring this coming season after Connor’s older brother, Dylan, graduated last season. Flandreau will play three teams that made it to the state tournament including the defending Class A champs Madison.
