Conference Preview: St. Louis Suburban (Yellow Division)
Webster Groves graduated its star tandem of Courtney Ramey and Carte’are Gordon from a team that has won the last two Class 5 state championships. However, the Statesmen figure to be a factor once again in the postseason with a strong nucleus returning led by sharpshooter Ray Adams and Tennessee State commit Amorey Womack. Jennings has also reloaded after finishing third in the Class 4 state tournament a year ago. The conference has also been strengthened by a number of talented transfers who will make an immediate impact. Marquette will be a darkhorse contender in the conference while Hazelwood Central figures to be a wildcard with a cast of new talent in to replace a very talented Class of 2018 that graduated.
