Abee Calls it for The Citadel
Morganton Freedom High School guard Fletcher Abee has committed to The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. “In all honesty I wasn’t really sure about the Citadel until I got on campus and actually witnessed what it’s really like. Every person I met down there was very welcoming and they’re all just great people, The Citadel provides an education and experience that very few colleges in America can provide and they promise to take care of you after you graduate, it’s just an opportunity that I couldn’t say no to, plus I’ve never been a person who settles for average. And as far as basketball goes it doesn’t get any better for me personally, I fit perfect into what they believe and implement on the court and I’m just really looking forward to playing there and doing whatever I can to help win games” said Abee.
Abee is a pure shooting guard who spent the summer playing with Team Loaded 704 on the Adidas Silver Circuit. He is a 6’3 shooting guard that can really get hot from outside. The Citadel does a good job of recruiting players from North and South Carolina.
