ALL IN High School Fall League – Recap Weeks 3 & 4
2019 Maine South guard Essam Hamwi’s 55-point game highlights the ALL IN High School fall league weeks 3 and 4 matchups at Maine East High School. 2024 PG Payton Kamin leads the Frosh/Soph Division in scoring at 26ppg while Nick Durst of the Pistons leads the Varsity division in scoring at 28ppg. Only the Bulls in the varsity division and Rockets in the Frosh/Soph division remain undefeated.
VARSITY HIGHLIGHTS: Week 3
Pistons 61 Warriors 54
The Warriors outscored the Pistons in the second half but couldn’t overcome league leading scorer Nick Durst’s 28 points. Christian Armstrong led the Warriors in scoring with 21.
Bulls 90 Knicks 44
The Bulls remained undefeated pumping in over 40 points each half. Five Bulls players scored in double figures, led by Maine South’s Jonathan Gardner’s 17. 2020 Alcott wing Fernando Alvarez-May led the Knicks with 17 points.
Timberwolves 62 Celtics 57
The Timberwolves outscored the Celtics by six in the second half to overcome a one-point deficit at halftime. 2019 Uplift wing Patrick Memong lead all players with 20 points and 13 rebounds. The Celtics Matt Rosenberger also recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Zack Goldstein led the Celtics in scoring with 19 points while registering 6 steals.
Trailblazers 67 76ers 58
A one-point deficit at halftime was overcome by the Trailblazers 37-point second half against the 76ers as Wesley Woods’ 26 points led all scorers on a very efficient 11-12 FG performance. Simon Hart had a monster performance for the 76ers with 23 pints and 12 rebounds.
FROSH/SOPH HIGHLIGHTS: Week 3
Grizzlies 65 Mavericks 55
The Grizzlies 10-point lead at half proved to be enough as the duo of 2021 SG Kyle McGovern and Josh Berman registered double-doubles of 27 points,14 rebounds and 21 points, 17 rebounds, respectively. Edward Geist led the Mavericks with 27 points.
Wizards 51 Nuggets 42
The Wizards held the Nuggets to 17 first half points en route to a win. 2024 PG Payton Kamin’s 13 points led the Wizards despite Julius Rosero leading all scorers with 17. The Wizards Owen Coleman and Nuggets Matt Balachowski had 9 rebounds each.
Clippers 71 Wizards 48
The Wizards ran out of gas in their second game of the day. Four players hit double figures in scoring for the Clippers as Pedro Medero led all scorers with 19.
Lakers 55 Nuggets 50
The Lakers led both halves to squeak by the Nuggets. Will Horak had a game high 18 points and 8 rebounds for the Lakers.
Rockets 66 Spurs 46
A 7-point lead at half was more than enough for the Rockets in this one. Ryan Whitfield led all scorers with 26 points for the Spurs while David Price’s 15 points and Oxavionne Bryant’s 10 points and 8 rebounds paced the Rockets.
VARSITY HIGHLIGHTS: Week 4
76ers 49 Timberwolves 41
The 76ers Simon Hart had another solid Sunday leading all scorers with 22 points. Max Hermitt had 14 for the Timberwolves.
Celtics 69 Pistons 62
Zack Goldsteins 24 points pushed the Celtics past the Pistons. Celtics teammates Matt Rosenberger had 16 points and 7 rebounds and Ben Eimer notched 10 points and 8 rebounds. Jovani Delao scored 20 for the Pistons while Ryan Jackson scored 8 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Knicks 49 Warriors 34
2020 wing Fernando Alvarez-May led all players with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Lucas Castle had 11 for the Warriors.
Bulls 113 Trailblazers 70
A high scoring affair saw the Bulls become the first team to score over 100 points in the league. 2019 guard Essam Hamwi’s 55 points are a league game high while teammate Fillip Bulatovic followed up with 28 points. The Trailblazers Jackson Covalle and Zach Jandali each scored 20. Jonathan Gyser recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulls.
FROSH/SOPH HIGHLIGHTS: Week 4
Grizzlies 63 Clippers 60
Down 37-30 at halftime, the Grizzlies overcame the lead by winning the second half with a 33-23 point margin and Kyle McGovern’s 29 points. Frank Taylor recorded a double-double with 19 points & 13 rebounds for the Clippers
Rockets 37 Mavericks 29
A defensive battle saw the Rockets share the ball very well as 8 players scored. The Mavericks Nehemiah Ray led all scorers with 13 points while teammate Edward Geist had 10 points and 8 rebounds.
Rockets 58 Lakers 46
The Rockets grew stronger in their second game, going 2-0 on the day. Oxavionne Bryant of the Rockets led all players with 15 points and 9 rebounds as teammate Marquel Saleek scored 13 points. Jayden Hall paced the Lakers with 12 points.
