2022 : SCBCA Boys Elite Camp
Prep Hoops took in the action today at the South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association (SCBCA) Boys Elite Camp at Ben Lippen in Columbia. The camp featured just over 120 players throughout the Palmetto State. Lets take a look at some of the players in the 2022 class in this article.
Luke Bracey – Rock Hill HS (pictured on front)
Bracey was unreal today at the SCBCA Camp. Bracey 6’5 left-handed kid already is physically mature and so skilled around the basket. Bracey hit 10-12 foot jumpers and finished with both hands around the cup. Bracey plays every possession extremely hard and is very coachable. Bracey has a great nose for the ball and was always in position to defend and receive it. Bracey was the best freshman in the SCBCA Camp today.
Dylan Williams – Irmo HS
Williams we first saw last season at Irmo HS playing in the season opener at the Spartanburg Christian Academy Tourney. Williams plays for the legendary Head Coach Tim Whipple and saw great minutes last season for the Yellow Jackets at the 5-A level as a 8th grader. Williams is quick to get into the gaps and just swarms the ball on defense.
Calvin Hall – Richland Northeast HS
Hall will suit up for the Cavaliers and new Head Coach JoJo English this coming season. Hall 6’2 is physically mature for his age and just tries to bully players on the floor. Hall plays inside-out on the floor and for sure lieks the ball in his hands when given the opportunity .
Austin Harrell – North Augusta HS
Harrell will play for his father Head Coach Tony Harrell at North Augusta HS this coming season. Harrell plays off the ball. Harrell needs some time and space for his shot currently. Harrell liked to set up shop out on the perimeter behind the 3-point line for the most part today.
