Take a look at the top scorers returning in the 2021 class in the Palmetto State. The 2021 class has plenty of talent and solid contributors already heading into their sophomores seasons this year. 

 

Bryce McGowens – Wren HS (Piedmont) – 18.4 ppg  (pictured on front) 

Ranked #3 in the 2021 Class in the Palmetto State. McGowens recently picked up a scholarship offer from St John’s. McGowens already has picked up offers from Iona, USC-Upstate and Mercer. His older brother Trey plays at the University of Pittsburgh. 

 

Amere Cherry

Amere Cherry – Richland Northeast HS  – 18 ppg 

Cherry transferred into Richland Northeast HS this summer from John Paul II in Ridgeland, SC. First saw Cherry play last season at the SCISA State Tourney at Wilson Hall. 

 

Shawn Jones Jr.

Shawn Jones Jr. – Allendale-Fairfax HS – 18 ppg 

 

Cainon Norris

Cainon Norris – Conway Christian – 15.3 ppg 

 

Adonis Davis

Adonis Davis – Blackville-Hilda HS – 14.1 ppg 

 

Latarian Tyler – North HS (North) – 14 ppg 

 

Marshall Myers

Marshall Myers – Cheraw HS – 13.5 ppg 

 

James Lovorn

John Butler

John Butler – Christ Church (Greenville) – 11.9 ppg 

Ranked #1 in the 2021 Class in the Palmetto State. Has received several offers already including Clemson, St Louis and Virginia Tech. Butler runs with Team United on the EYBL Grassroots Circuit.

Ranked #4 in the 2021 Class in the Palmetto State.
