Atlanta, GA – The young sophomore guard Garrison Powell of Holy Innocents Prep (Atlanta, Georgia) is a star in the making. Powell is a 6-foot-3 score first type guard who is coming off a summer where he ran with Team Tuff (GA), a program ran by Chris Williams, who also coached Game Elite Gold in the Adidas Gauntlet.

His offer list includes offers from Ole Miss, Middle Tennessee State, and Mississippi State so far in his young career. Schools like Georgia Tech, South Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Rice, Iowa, and Tennessee have expressed interest Garrison tells me. He has already taken unofficial visits to Georgia and has just recently visited Ole Miss this past weekend unofficially. He is expected to take an unofficial visit to South Carolina this weekend, October 26-28th, and is also planning a trip to Mississippi State.

Powell has great size already for a kid his age at the two-guard position. Coming into his sophomore campaign he will be looking to develop skill wise and physicially. Garrision will be playing a huge role for his high school team this season. He can score outside and inside the paint and is very engaged when he is on the floor. College coaches should be in contact with the sophomore guard throughout this season and going into next spring.
