2021 Bretner Mutombo Recruitment Update
Atlanta, GA – The 6-foot-10 center Bretner Mutombo, in my opinion, will be one of the top 2021 centers in the nation someday. No, he has no relations whatsoever to legendary Atlanta Hawks center Dikembe Mutombo but you might be mistaken as they do have a much similar game. With development still to be made when it comes to some part of Bretner’s game, he is still on a few college coaches radar and has received multiple offers and interest.
His offer list includes Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Xavier, and New Mexico. He has received interest from a plethora of high major programs and other mid major programs as well. Bretner has taken a couple unofficial visits so far to schools like Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Clemson, Florida, UCF, Arizona, and Grand Canyon according to his high school head coach. He has no other visits planned so far as the high school season approaches.
The young sophomore big has ways to go in his development but that does not mean he is not a threat when he is on the court. He is a excellent rim protector on the defensive side of the ball. He has crazy length in his arms which helps him be able to guard multiple positions. Mutombo is an athletic and what we can characterize now as a modern big man. The sky is the limit for the sophomore center and he certainly has tremondous upside. College coaches and scouts will be on hand throughout his sophomore campaign this year.
