2020: SCBCA Elite Boys Camp
The SCBCA Elite Camp had some really solid talent for all the classes this past weekend. Lets take a look at the 2020 players that played in the event.
Isaiah Caldwell – Heathwood Hall (pictured on front)
Caldwell has really grown in height this past year. Caldwell is a long and rangy player that got to the basket when he wanted to today. Caldwell sees the floor and plays really well in the open court.
Quentin Hodge – Lakewood HS (Sumter)
Hodge has really improved his game and today got to the basket. Hodge picked up some offers this summer from Florida Gulf Coast University, Mercer and South Carolina State.
Kelton Talford – Great Falls HS
Talford is a run-jump-athlete for the Red Devils. Talford was a double-double guy last season for Head Coach Jimmy Duncan.
Justin Amadi – Hillcrest HS (Simpsonville)
Amadi is a hybrid around the basket and plays much bigger than his size on the floor. Amadi is a quick leaper and can really rebound the ball well on both ends.
Saiveon Williams – Rock Hill HS
I guess I’m getting old now – I saw Saiveon’s father play in high school at Austin HS and then at the University Illinois-Chicago. I started my basketball recruiting service in Wisconsin / Illinois back in1999. Williams was active on both ends of the floor today rebounding the ball. Williams connected on some perimeter shots.
Jordan Wildy – Rock Hill HS
Wildy recently picked up some offers from Tulane and Western Carolina University. Wildy is very long and must add weight in the future to his frame. Wildy can extend the defense with his ability to shoot the ball on the perimeter.
Emorie Knox – Myrtle Beach HS
Knox a pure point guard can really turn the corner quick as anyone I have seen with the ball. Knox sees the floor very well and will look to have a big season this year for Head Coach Craig Martin.
Case Roach – Traveler’s Rest HS
Roach just plays extremely hard all over the floor. Roach will dive on the floor for a loose ball or take a charge. Roach 6’4 is a deceptive athlete isn’t afraid to get caught up in the middle of things. Roach has great toughness and a winning attitude.
Jai’Breon Ferguson – Greer Middle College
Ferguson 6’4 moved back to the area after living in California last season. Ferguson a left-handed wing player connected on some three pointers while setting up shop in the corners.
Tristan Freeling – Wando HS (Mount Pleasant)
Freeling brings a toughness and competitive edge to the floor. Freeling connected on shots on the perimeter and always seemed to be in the right position on the floor.
Jamean Muldrow – Darlington HS
Muldrow a left-handed player just gets stuff done on the floor. Muldrow has the ability to attack the basket, stalk the baseline or hit the mid-range jumper.
Darrel Gardner – Georgetown HS
Gardner has a bit of low shot release but it seems to work for him. Gardner connected on some shots from downtown today.
Tauris Watson – White Knoll HS (Lexington)
Watson is a left-handed slasher who really looks to score the ball. Watson will leak out in transition for cheapies or hit a perimeter jumper.
