2020 Jamaine Mann Recruitment Update
Atlanta, Georgia – The 6-foot-5 guard Jamaine Mann is one of Georgia’s emerging prospects. After running with one of the best 16U teams in the nation this past summer in Atlanta Xpress in the UAA, Mann has decided to transfer from Eagles Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, Georgia) to Starrs Mill High School (Fayetteville, Georgia).
Mann’s recruitment is sure to be on the rise as the season goes along and as we get back into AAU season but this is what he had to say on his recruitment so far. Tulane is the only school to actually offer the young junior thus far, but schools like Georgia, Florida, Central Florida, Princeton, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Clemson, Providence, Auburn, Middle Tennessee State, Xavier, Alabama, and Troy have expressed interest. Jamaine also tells me that he has taken unofficial visits so far to Central Florida, Auburn, and Georgia and plans on taking more soon.
Jamaine is a solid sized two-guard who in my opinion is best when he is around the rim. He has a big frame for a kid his age and is able to attack and get to the rim when he needs too. Mann’s older brother is Charles Mann, a former Georgia standout and who also played his college basketball career at the University of Georgia. That could certainly come into play during Jamaine’s recruitment process.
