2020 Eugene Brown III Recruitment Update
Atlanta, GA – One Georgia’s top sleeper prospects that college coaches need to keep an eye on the next two years is without a doubt Eugene Brown III out of Southwest Dekalb High School (Decatur, GA). Brown has emerged into a talented prospect here in the peach state and has been raising the level of his game over the last few months. He sits at 6-foot-6 and is a perimeter wing with other qualities in his game.
Eugene so far has received offers from Mississippi State, Middle Tennessee State, James Madison, and Presbyterian. Georiga Tech, Rice, Cincinnati, Alabama, Penn, Yale, Clemson, Butler, and Tennessee State are just a few schools who have expressed interest in the junior wing thus far according to his father, who is also his high school head coach. He also tells me Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi State, Alabama, Butler, and Clemson have been in contact with them the most.
Brown III has already taken a few unofficial visits to schools like Ole Miss and Presbyterian to name a few. He is expected to be on campus at Butler this weekend, October 26-28th, and Mississippi State next weekend Nov. 1-3rd for an unofficial. Eugene is coming into his junior season after having a summer where ran with Athletes of Tomorrow (GA) in the 16U Nike EYBL. He has an intriuging skill set and has also improved physically. He is a threat on the wing and has long arms that assist him on defense as well.
