2020 Brandon Harris Recruitment Update
Atlanta, GA – The 6-foot-6 shooting guard Brandon Harris is one of Georgia’s under the radar prospects we have to brag about. After transferring from Beach High School in southern Georgia, he is expected to be in a Johnson-Savannah High School uniform this season for the start of his junior season.
I had a chance to speak with Brandon on where he stands in his recruitment so far coming into his junior year. His list of offers include Georgia Tech, Georgia, Kansas State, Tulane, James Madison, North Florida, Jacksonville, and McNeese State. He has expressed interest from schools like Clemson, Auburn, Virginia, Ohio State, and Georgia State. Regarding visits, Brandon told me he may be going to Georgia Tech this upcoming Friday for their midnight madness, but he is not certain yet. “Virginia wants me to come up soon but has not set a date”, Harris also tells me.
Brandon is coming off a summer where he ran with Game Elite (FL) 16U in the Addias Gauntlet, who were one of the best 16U division teams. He can score the ball and could be considered as a knock down shooter. He can also connect on his mid range shots and has great size at the two guard position sitting at 6-foot-6. With Harris now at Johnson-Savannah, he should be able to put his talents on display against greater competition than he did last season with Beach.
