Traye Carson – Westside HS (Anderson) – Army commit
Carson was on fire today with his play-making for teammates and connecting on shots.
Russell Jones – Westwood HS – Winthrop commit
Jones and Carson both teammates with Team South Carolina were impressive here this day at the SCBCA Boys Elite Camp.
Kassius “Jay” Williams – Socastee HS
Williams a left-handed point guard is back to lead the Braves this season. Williams is not short in confidence on the floor with his play making and shooting. Williams really excels in the up-tempo style of play.
Jevon Griffin – Socastee HS
Griffin a left-handed shooting guard transferred over to the Braves from nearby North Myrtle Beach HS. Griffin connected on several shots on the perimeter and behind the arc.
Keenan Coats – Swansea HS
Coats 5’11 guard also quarterbacks the Tigers football team. Coats a strong guard really scored the ball well at the basket today.
Zuric Harvey – Northwestern HS (Rock Hill)
Harvey a left-handed point guard had plenty of shakes-bakes today. Harvey really likes to have the ball in his hands at all times. Harvey created well for his teammates on the floor.
Maurice Grant – Lewisville HS
Grant is a extremely athletic guard who likes to attack the basket. Grant plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor.
Nick Paul – Newberry HS
Paul a mover-screener in the post has the ability to face-up on the perimeter. Paul has broad shoulders and plays very well away from the ball .
Terrill Windom – River Bluff HS (Lexington)
Windom was solid here today with his play. Windom scored the ball inside-out and rebounded the ball very well on both ends. Windom created space in the paint while finishing around the cup.
Malcolm Davis – Pelion HS
Davis 5’8 left-handed point guard was slippery with the ball and his ability to attack the rack.
Joshua Moore – Byrnes HS (Duncan)
Moore a left-handed guard is built like a tank. Moore connected on several three pointers today. Moore has a broad set of shoulders to go with his old-school type of game.
JaVarion Calhoun – Greenwood HS
Calhoun 5’9 scrappy point guard is a bit of a pest on the floor. Calhoun connected on a few pull-up jumper in transition.
Zarrius Salmond – Lugoff-Elgin HS
Salmond really doesn’t have a true position on the floor. Salmond plays very well in the paint Salmond finished around the cup when given the opportunity.
Aynsly Bowers – Mid-Carolina HS (Prosperity)
Bowers 5’9 made several tough shots and three pointers today in the 2nd half. Bowers has a good stroke from downtown.
Travelle Simmons – Goose Creek HS
Simmons really uses the bounce pass well and prefers to play fast in a up-tempo style of play. Simmons was quick in the passing lanes with some deflections.
