Where Do I Go: Wilson, NC
Greenfield School 3351 (NC Highway 42 W, Wilson, NC 27895) : Without a doubt if you’re a college coach or a fan of the game, then youre already familiar with this program. They consistently produce college level talent and this season will be no different, they are younger but have a very nice group of players to keep an eye on. 2020 Guard Djimon Bailey is a player that has already picked up interest from MM programs, 2020 Forward Trey Pittman is a stretch forward prospect that you have to like potential and skillset wise. You have also have Jacori Outlaw, Bryson Baker and big Jahmi Foster are all young talented players who should play well. The Knights have added some new talent in 2020 Guards Colin Guilford & Creighton Lebo who both can fill it up scoring wise, this group has a nice amount of talent for college coaches.
Wilson Prep (2755 Tilghman Rd N, Wilson, NC 27896): They have a new coach who is bringing in some nice talent and they will be a talented bunch of players, some of the new additions include 2019 Guard Tristan Davis who is a player that can score the ball, he will be a player that is called on to lead his team almost immediately with the amount of youth they have.
Fike HS (500 Harrison Dr N, Wilson, NC 27893) 2020 Forward Moses Parker plays the game with a high amount of energy and effort, does a nice job of rebounding the ball and slashing to the basket. One of the better players on his team, he provides a very high percentage of the scoring for his team. 2019 Forward/Center Caleb Brayboy has nice size and will be a player that will provide a high amount of rebounding and blocked shots for his team. 2022 Guard Christian Battle is one of the smallest players, he has a game that is mature beyond his years but he still figuring some things out. Two of his better attributes are his ability to handle the ball as well as facilitating to teammates.
Hunt HS (4559 Lamm Rd SW, Wilson, NC 27893) is another program that has had success over the past with having some talented players on their roster, including the latest graduate, Jeremiah Ganaway who has moved on to play college basketball on the JC level. Davon Jones is a player that should keep an eye on, one of the younger talented players in the area that has a chance to be special.
