Where Do I Go: Fayetteville NC
The Fayetteville, NC area has been a place that has produced talent at a nice level over the past years and this upcoming season is no different. Due to the fact that we are going to be able to attend open gyms and games in the Fayetteville area, we aren’t going to go into extreme depth but will give you a quick overview of some public and private school talent.
New Life Christian has multiple college prospects on this squad, 2020 Guards Reggie Walton, Phil Martin, Dahaun Jones are all 2020 guys to keep an eye on. 2019 Wing Latrell Jones and 2020 Reggie Raynor rare both players as well that have college interest with Raynor holding D1 offers. 2019 Big man Jalen Love and 2020 Big Jeremyah McWilliams are both players that can play well inside the paint and will see significant time. The young buck of the group is 2021 Shooting Guard Pharell Davis who is slowly but surely coming into his own.
Village Christian will once again be a program with multiple college prospects, they bring back D1 prospects in 2019 Guard Travion Mccray and 6’10 Forward Derrick Quansah. The addition of 2020 Guard Zavian McLean as well as a few other college level prospects will once again make Village Christian a place that you want to drop in.
Freedom Christian is a place that is always full of surprises with who will actually be on their team roster by time the season starts. They consistently have players from overseas that come in and are college prospects but will return a few players from last year’s team. 2019 Guard Brandon Murray has picked up a D2 offer already while 2020 Forward Aymeric Toussaint should pick up some college interest as well. 2019 Wing Tre Bell should see his role increased this seas as well as new pickup 2019 Guard Thomas Miles who has transferred in from Kerr-Vance.
Northwood Temple will have some new faces this year as well as some old, they return 2019 Guard Josh Nickelberry who has made his pledge to Louisville already. 2020 Guard Jamahri Harvey is one that D1 programs have been keeping an eye on, 2019 Wing Brandon Franklin has gotten better and is one that college have been asking about lately.
Fayetteville Christian School upgraded at the Forward Positions this offseason picking up 2019 Forward Jaden Kirkland as well as 2020 Forward Jaden Scriven who can do multiple things. Scriven showed this summer that he can score and rebound the ball at a high rate while Kirkland is more of a rebounding big that can play some stretch forward at times.
