UNCW continued their strong recruitment in the ENC area as they landed a commitment from Greene Central HS 2019 Forward Imajae Dodd. Dodd has been successful over these past few years and seems to be a player that will fit nicely into the UNCW programs. Former ENC standouts such as : Jacque Brown (East Carteret) , Matt Elmore (Dixon HS) & Jaylen Fornes (Pamlico County & Word Of God) are all currently on the roster for the Seahawks who are experiencing success.
Radford University will be the place where Jayvis Harvey takes his talents as he recently made the commitment after an official visit. We like the potential that Harvey has and fully believe that he will have a very nice career there, he can knock down shots at a nice level as well as masking plays above the rim.
Greensboro Day 2019 Big man Mike Fowler made a commitment recently to James Madison University. The progress that he has made over these last few years has been nothing but impressive and we still feel that he has a good amount of upside to him that we will see polished up over the next few years.
Trinity Christian School in Fayetteville will be having their College Day session on October 1, 2018, although they have multiple players that have already committed, there is still plenty of talent for colleges to watch. 2019 PG Talton Jones is one that D1 programs have already been on as he currently holds an offer from Liberty.
Panther Creek HS 2019 Forward Justin Mckoy made his commitment to Penn State University, Mckoy had a very impressive season last season averaging over 21 points and 9 rebounds per game for his squad. Has a nice mixture of height and talent, can stretch the floor with knocking down the trey ball as well as putting the ball on the floor.
New Life Christian Graduate Arshon King is headed to prep school for a season at Washington Academy. King had a solid year for the Monarchs and showed that when he’s locked in and focused he can be a nice player overall.
