Virginia Committed Player Breakdown
Ten players from Virginia have already committed to play division one basketball, with many more expected to follow in the upcoming weeks and months. Here is a breakdown of how each player could fit in at the next level.
DANNY BANNISTER | HAMPTON
Hampton is getting a long and lanky 6-foot-5 wing with upside in Danny Bannister. Bannister will be able to defend multiple positions, and has the chance to become a mis-match problem offensively as he grows into his body and polishes his skill set.
BASSIROUI DIOP | HAMPTON
Bassiroui Diop is a versatile front-court piece that the Hampton Coaching Staff should have a lot of fun with. At 6-foot-6+, Diop has length and plays with a consistently high motor, but will probably needs to add more strength if he wants to contribute right away.
ANTWAN EPPS JR. | HAMPTON
Skilled southpaw Antwan Epps Jr. is one of the most prolific scorers at the point guard position in the 757. He can get it done from all three levels, and has been doing so throughout his high school career.

ZAC ERVIN | WOFFORD
Wofford is getting a potential day-one producer in Zac Ervin. The strong 6-foot-5 wing from Gate City will provide perimeter shooting, toughness, and physicality.
JADEN FRAZIER | CHATTANOOGA
Jaden Frazier is another improving prospect who should make an impact from day one at the next level. The left-handed 6-foot-8 post technician has great touch from 15 feet and in, but also competes, rebounds and defends at a high level.
JOSH ODURO | GEORGE MASON
George Mason is getting one of the area’s more intriguing long-term prospects in 6-foot-9 power forward Josh Oduro. Oduro has improved at a rapid rate each year, and we could see him being a dominant figure in the A10 for years to come.
JAHDON ROBINSON | HAMPTON
Jahdon Robinson is a big time athlete with size who should fight for minutes right away at Hampton. Robinson has big time talent and potential, which we could see unlocked if he can produce consistently at the next level.
DAJOUR RUCKER | MARSHALL
Dajour Rucker is one of the best stretch bigs in the state, and he is a mismatch problem given his size, skill set, and motor. Marshall is getting a strong 6-foot-6 power forward who doesn’t back down and plays with a high basketball IQ.
AYAN TEEL | MOUNT ST. MARY’S
Ayan Teel proved that he can compete with elite guards in the WCAC, which means he should have no trouble with the transition to the Northeast Conference. Expect Teel to fit in right away and find a consistent role from day one.
CHARLES THOMPSON | TOWSON
Towson is getting a terrific long-term prospect in Charles Thompson. The 6-foot-7 forward brings length and versatility to the front court, and his best days of basketball are clearly ahead of him.
