Uncommitted Post Grads and Seniors To Watch Closely
Moravian Prep Forward/Center Ty Claude: Last season at Goldsboro HS he picked up two offers and made the decision to do a post graduate year at Moravian. We like what he can bring to the table as a Low Major prospect, his ability to block shots and run the floor at his height is always a positive. Morehead State University is the latest school to extend him a scholarship offer.
Word of God Christian Wing Max Farthing: If you’re looking for a player with height that can knock down shots at a high volume, then you need to look no further. We can’t even tell you how many times that we have seen him knock down 7 or 8 treys in a game all while keeping a poker face on the floor.
Washington Academy PG Dakari Johnson: We have seen what he can do for quite a few years now and will simply be waiting to see which program will be wise enough to get the ball rolling with him recruitment wise. He’s picked up some D1 interest with schools such as Longwood, High point and a few others, don’t be shocked to see that interest turn to offers soon.
Cary HS Guard Jeff Fortuny: There is a lot to like about Jeff, he has nice size for a guard at 6’4, an advanced skillset, and a demeanor that seems like he is never rattled. We got the chance to see him play multiple times during the summer and we left impressed with what he could do each time, high IQ on the court as well as being a great student in the classroom.
Freedom Christian Guard Brandon Murray: Lees Mcrae is the only program that has extended an offer to him so far which is a bit surprising but he is a player that can fit well into the right college program. Shooting the ball is where he makes his highest impact, he doesn’t need much time or space to get a shot off and once he gets hot, it can end up being a long day for the defense.
