TR3 Hoops Summit: Top Performers Part 2
The TR3 Hoops Summit was live! A lot of great talent in the gym and a very competitive atmosphere. The music was loud and the player’s fed off of that energy and delivered some high quality games. Here are the top performers from the event:
Tyrone “Ty Ty” Washington (Cesar Chavez):
Washington played very well, as he always does. He once again shot the ball at an extremely high rate, knocking down multiple 3’s. Ty Ty also got his teammates involved, dishing out 7 assists. Washington has always been a solid defender but he really stepped it up on the perimeter. He ended with 4 steals by simply playing his defender well. Ty Ty finsished with 20 points, 4 steals, 7 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 block.
Trent Hudgens (Moon Valley):
Trent was also very impressive today. He has a very nice control of the game, setting the tempo for his team. He’s a kid that I have not seen play very much in person, but have heard a lot of good things about him and he did not disappoint at all. Hudgens finished with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks.
Xavier Dusell (Chaparral):
Dusell had a little bit of a slower today than he usually has, however he still played well enough to be on this list and that speaks to the type of player he is and his skill set. Xavier did not shoot the ball as well as he normally does and he still finished with 15 points, that shows how offensively skilled this kid is. Dusell finished with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
