Top 250 Interview: Tarron Carter (2020)
The Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo was loaded with basketball talent. Tarron Carter was one of the most impressive players at the event. He is a shooting guard from the class of 2020. Carter attends Southfield Christian and played grassroots basketball for Michigan Tranzition. He is one of the most skilled guards in his class and has the size to be a match up nightmare. Carter was impressive at the Top 250 and sent a message to the competition and coaches in attendance. I caught up with Tarron Carter to talk about the Top 250 Expo and more.

How do you think you benefitted from being at the Top 250 Expo?
Tarron Carter:
i played a lot of the top competition in the state and it made me better as a player.

What was it like playing in front of college coaches at the Top 250 Expo?
Tarron Carter:
Playing in front of college coaches motivates me to show them something different or stand out from other players.
Question:
What was your best memory from the event?
Tarron Carter:
My best memory was going 3-0 the entire day.

Who was the toughest player that you had to match up with at the Top 250 Expo?
Tarron Carter:
Jalen Fisher.

What is the strongest part of your game?
Tarron Carter:
The ability to dribble, pass, & shoot at 6’4”

What are you looking forward to as far as the coming high school season?
Tarron Carter:
Gaining some offers, stuffing the stat sheet, and winning a state ring.

Do you have any goals for high school season?
Tarron Carter:
Winning a state ring, getting some offers from different schools, and getting better everyday.

What do you think has been key to your basketball success?
Tarron Carter:
Determination and confidence has led me to basketball success.
