Top 250 Expo (Class of 2020 Wings)
Here is a look at the Class of 2020 wings from last weekend’s Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo in St. Louis.
Samuel Bledsoe 6’2″ Charleston: One of the more impressive 3-point shooters at the showcase, Bledsoe showed some unlimited range at times. He pulled up from 25 feet on a couple of occasions and it was all net. He is also working hard to improve his offense off the dribble to compliment his outside shooting.
Carson Parker 6’5″ Nashville, IL: A very nice all-around player who had a very impressive showing. He brings good size and a versatile skill set to the party. He can knock down 3-pointers and he was very good at moving without the ball and scoring on some nice cuts. He also displayed some nice athleticism as well.
Aaron Engleman 6’3″ Nixa: He was one of the more pleasant surprises of the event for me. The young man knows how to put the ball in the basket. A lot of his action came off the ball and he always seemed to be in the right place and his shooting touch was excellent, whether it was a lay-up off the cut, a 15 footer or a 3-pointer.
Jordon Ryan 6’0″ John Burroughs: A solid wing player who had a nice stroke from 3-point range. His high-arching jumper usually brought rain and buckets as well. He is also a capable ball handler who was always in the middle of the action as he made a number of hustle plays to chase down loose balls and get offensive rebounds and extra possessions for his team.
Kaidyn Johnson 6’0″ Jefferson City: A very unassuming player who did a lot of nice things on the court in a quiet manner. He was very unselfish in setting up teammates with his passing and he was also good at moving and getting buckets on cuts to the basket. He made a lot of impact plays that can go unnoticed.
