Top 250 Camp : The All-Hustle Team
Prep Hoops takes a look at the All-Hustle Team from this past weekend at the Top 250 Expo at the Myrle Beach Sports Center.
Darius Dawson (2019) – West Florence HS (Florence)
Dawson made a great first impression on me that’s for sure with his play. Dawson 6’5 is new to the Palmetto State after arriving this summer from Box Elder, SD. Dawson is a military kid and spent his FR/SO years in South Korea he told Prep Hoops. Dawson just plays the game so hard and remains active on both ends of the floor constantly. Dawson does all of his work around the basket. .
Devin Butler (2019) – Ridgeland-Hardeeville (Ridgeland) (pictured on front)
Butler is extremely vocal on the floor as a coach. Butler never takes plays off and just loves to play the game you can tell with his mannerisms on the floor. Butler usually draws assignment of guarding the other teams best player.
Marquez Lewis (2020) – Hillcrest HS (Simpsonville)
Lewis 6’3 is physically mature and very vocal on the floor. Lewis isn’t afraid to sacrifice his body for the better of the team. Lewis has a football frame and rebounds the ball very well from the back court. Lewis can overpower other guards with his size while attacking the cup.
Mondez Frazier (2020) – Wren HS (Piedmont)
Frazier is a nemesis on the defensive end of the floor. Frazier plays the passing lanes so well and creates havoc in return. Frazier wasn’t afraid to get on the floor for a loose ball. Frazier also plays football for the Hurricanes after transferring over from nearby Palmetto HS with his twin brother Montez.
Jaquarious “JQ” Jones (2021) – Greenville HS
Jones is a mismatch guy and who knows for sure if he keeps growing. Jones will bully players on the floor with his size. Jones his built like a fullback and at times he is ready to break by defenders with the ball. Jones dove on the floor and took charges here today for his squad.
