Top 250 Camp : 2020 Top Performers
The Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo Camp took place this past weekend on the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach. Lets take a look at some of the 2020 Top Performers in this article.
P.J, Hall 6’9 – Dorman HS (pictured on front)
Hall was on a mission here today with his play. Hall is currently #1 ranked player in the 2020 Palmetto State Class. Hall has really filled out his body over the past year and his work ethic is tremendous. Hall finished around the basket today or by knocking down jump shots on the perimeter. Hall has several offers from the likes of South Carolina, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
Myles Tate 6’0 – Dorman HS
Tate is ranked #2 in the 2020 Palmetto State right high school teammate Hall. Tate is a great passer in the open floor and has a really nice pull-up jumper when he wants to use it in his arsenal. Tate has been a fixture on the Cavaliers team since his 8th grade season.
Naseem Khaalid 6’1 – Legacy Early College (Greenville)
Khaalid returns to the Palmetto State after being in Jacksonville, FL. at First Coast HS. Khaalid spent time living in Sumter, SC growing up as a kid. Khaalid a strong power point guard is built like a tank. Khaalid has already committed to the Florida State Seminoles and Head Coach Leonard Hamilton.
Braylan McIntyre 6’5 – Woodmont HS
McIntyre was a player I had never seen until today at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo. McIntyre ran the Grassroots Circuit with the Atlanta Playmakers. McIntyre was cleaning up on the glass on both ends of the floor. McIntyre stayed in the paint and did all of his work from 2-4 feet in. McIntyre finished a high percentage of shots here today.
Marquez Lewis 6’3 – Hillcrest HS (Simpsonville)
Lewis is a absolute pest on the defensive side of the floor. Lewis is extremely active on the floor and in the passing lanes. Lewis has really filled out his body in the past year. Lewis plays with a lot of energy and is very vocal communicating with his teammates on the floor.
Traveon Davis 6’4 – Clarendon Hall (Summerton)
Davis moved over to the Saints this off season from Lake Marion HS. Davis can really explode to the basket off the dribble when he puts his mind to it. Davis knocked down some jumpers today and brought the ball up the floor at times.
Harold Johnson 6’2 – Denmark-Olar HS (Denmark)
Johnson is a lefty-slender guard who really keeps his teammates happy with his unselfish play. Johnson has a nice mid-range game and also has the ability to create his own shot. Johnson has seen action for the Vikings since the 7th grade on the varsity.
