Top 250 Camp : 2019 Forwards
Lets take a look at some 2019 Forwards from the Top 250 Camp held this weekend at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center.
Marcus Moore 6’8 – Socastee HS (pictured on front)
Moore just keeps on improving the more and more he plays. Moore is a late bloomer but still has his best basketball in front of him. Moore keeps the ball up high and runs the floor very well. Moore hit on a few 8-10 footers today on the floor. Moore has great length and still would like to see him get a bit stronger.
Jaden Anderson 6’5 – Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant)
Anderson transferred over this off season from nearby Burke HS located in downtown Charleston. Anderson is a bit of a tweener on the floor. Anderson runs the floor very well and plays with a lot of emotion. Anderson hit a few 13-15 footers today on the perimeter.
Adyn Kirby 6’6 – Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant)
Kirby made some great progressions this summer when we saw him last at University of South Carolina Team Camp. Kirby carried that play over today here at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo. Kirby played very aggressive on both ends of the floor and showed really good bounce.
Jamarvious Jones 6’4 – Strom Thurmond HS (Johnston)
Jones really likes to stalk the baseline when given the chance. Jones excels in the transition style of play. Jones connected on a few three pointers today.
Zarrius Salmond 6’3 – Lugoff-Elgin HS
Salmond scored all of his points in the paint here today. Salmond wasn’t afraid to throw a body on somebody and make contact. Salmond really went to work for position in the paint.
Gavin Bilbrey 6’5 – Wardlaw Academy (Johnston)
Bilbrey landed this off season at Wardlaw Academy from nearby Fox Creek HS. Bilbrey connected on a few shots today on the perimeter along with playing the passing lanes very well. Bilbrey played well away from the ball and was always in position when given a opportunity to shoot it.
