Preseason All State Team: North Dakota Class A
PHD continues to preview the 18-19 season with today’s Class A Preseason All-State Team in North Dakota. Who earned a spot? Have a look today.
Preseason All State – First Team
Christian Kuntz of WF Sheyenne (SR). Kuntz scored 18.1 points per game and had the highest assist per game average in the EDC.
Elijah Klein of Mandan (SR). Klein scored 14.6 a game and led the WDA in rebounding at nearly nine a contest.
Trey Mattern of Bismarck Century (SR). Mattern scored a dozen a game for the state champs and was a top ten assist guy in Class A.
Joe Jahner of Bismarck (SR). Joe led Bismarck in scoring at 12.3 points per game as a junior and was third on the team in rebounds with 4.5 a contest.
Boden Skunberg of Jamestown (JR). Boden scored 14 points a game with six rebounds a contest plus he’s the most recruited player in the state at the moment.
Preseason All State – Second Team
Luke Lennon of West Fargo (SR). Put up 14.5 points and 11.6 rebounds a game last year as a junior.
Braeton Motschenbacher of Fargo Davies (SR). Braeton scored nearly 17 a game shooting 44 percent from the arc as a junior.
Mason Walters of Jamestown (SR). A top four scorer in the WDA at 16.3 points per game while grabbing over eight board a contest.
Jaden Klabo of Fargo Davies (SR). Klabo put up 13 points and 4.5 rebounds a game for the balanced Davies team as a junior.
Kiir Mabor of Fargo South (SR). Mabor scored 15 points a game, led his team in steals, and was third in rebounding last year.
Preseason All State – Third Team
Cole Hage of Fargo Davies (JR). Cole was the best foul shooter in the EDC last tear, a solid rebounder, and an efficient double figure scorer.
Julian Parisien of Turtle Mountain (SR) Julian scored 24 points a game last winter plus he led the team in assists and rebounds.
Cade Feeney of Century (JR). Cade led the state champions in steals, was third in assists, and scored just under nine points a game.
Jaxon Gunville of Minot (JR). A three point weapon that scored 10.5 points per game shooting 48 percent form the arc on his 4-5 threes a game.
Tyler Terhark of WF Sheyenne (JR). Tyler scored eight points a game last yaer with five rebounds consistently for one of the best teams in state.
