Prep Hoops Georgia Top 250 Standouts Part 2
Emerson, GA – Georgia’s Prep Hoops Top 250 exposure camp tipped off yesterday at the famous Lakepoint Sports Academy in Cartersville, GA. The top 250 camp features some of Georgia’s top sleeper prospects and prospects who do not receive as much national or local attention. Below I have listed a few kids who stoodout more than others yesterday afternoon.
2020 SG Toneari Lane – Shiloh High School
Toneari Lane is one of the best prospects in the state of Georgia. The 6-foot-5 two-guard put his talents on display yesterday at Prep Hoops Top 250 expo camp. Without a doubt, Lane was one of the best players yesterday. He has a unique skillset and has improved his game over the last couple of years. He is a powerful left-hander who is best when he is inside the three point line. He is super athletic and can be very explosive off the ground. Toneari is in for big junior season at Shiloh High School where he can expect to receive a lot more exposure.
2019 W Daren “DJ” Patrick – Sprayberry High School
DJ Patrick was another one of those kids that I saw yesterday that was determined to play defense. Patrick is another one of my sleeper prospects in the peach state and that can definitely change as the year goes along. He is a 6-foot-5 wing who will be able to play the two and three position. DJ has long arms which helps him be a defensive stopper on the perimeter. On offense DJ is a slasher and is able to find his spots on the floor to knock down his jump shots.
2019 SG Tyler Ard Jr. – Allatoona High School
Tyler was one of the few kids that surprised me and caught my eye at yesterday’s camp. He has great size for a two-guard and is very physical on both sides of the floor. He was best when around the basket and was able to finish inside. Ard Jr. is also a good defender, even with guys much taller and bigger than him. He sits at 6-foot-5 and is a strong attacking guard who was able to finish in traffic.
