Northwest High Academic Camp: Top Participant Preview
This weekend the Northwest High Academic Camp will take place September 8th and 9th on the campus of Bellevue College. Some of the top high academic basketball players from both Washington and Oregon will be in attendance to showcase their skills in front of evaluators and college coaches.
Here’s a quick look at the top players that are expected to be in attendance.
From Washington:
Issac Morrow (2019 Curtis) – Versatile defensive-minded swingman who can hit the perimeter shot.
Antonio Salinas (2019 Zillah) – Shifty and competitive floor leader with a real love for the game.
Lester Sauvage (2019 Bishop Blanchet) – Saavy guard who competes hard on both ends of the floor.
Jaeden Ingram (2019 Puyallup) – Athletic and long combo guard who shoots it well from the outside.
Griffin Barker (2019 Eastside Catholic) – Tough, undersized (6-foot-7) but strong post player who will outwork opponents.
Nate Johnson (2019 Roosevelt) – Lanky and athletic wing/forward with a lot of potential.
John Christofilis (2021 O’Dea) – Sweet shooting guard with good size; may be the #2 top rising sophomore in the state.
Cooper Church (2022 Tahoma) – Young big man who may be the top rising freshman big man in the Pacific Northwest.
From Oregon:
Bryson Crockett (2020 West Linn) – Versatile wing who can stroke the lefty three or take it strong to the basket.
Jett Sheng (2020 Catlin Gabel) – All-around point guard who can shoot from the perimeter as well as distribute.
Jacob Slifka (2020 Banks) – Lights out shooter with size at 6-foot-5.
Jacob Thompkins (2020 Summit) – Still growing wing who scores at all three levels.
Max von Arx (2022 Grant) – Rising young glue guy who could earn minutes in the rotation for the defending 6A state champs.
