Prep Hoops Staff
As we get closer to our Prep-Hoops 250 event on September 15th, we decided to give a few names to watch out for. This camp will be loaded with talent as they will get a chance to play in front of several college coaches at all levels. The camp will be directed by by former NCAA champion Kris Johnson who played for UCLA in 1995 when they won the title. This camp will be an exciting event and will be very beneficial for the student-athletes involved. Here is a look at a few names to keep an eye on at the camp.
Brahjon Thompson – James Logan HS 6’0′ PG
Brahjon is a scoring point guard that plays with a lot of intensity. He is a crafty lefty guard that gets to the rim well and has an excellent first-step. Expect him to put on a show.
Cameron Joseph – Armijo HS 6’3′ SG
Cameron is one of the most underrated players in Northern California. He plays hard, doesn’t show too much emotion, and has a high basketball IQ. College coaches will be after him once they see him. He would be prime at the Division 2 level.
Marvin McBroom – Vallejo HS 5’8′ PG
Quick speedy guard that plays hard every possession and can defend. Despite his size he is still able to get to the rim, and has a great floater.
Cameron Walker – Turlock HS 5’9′ PG
Walker is a young high IQ point guard who loves to distribute the basketball. His talents and good basketball instincts will be displayed at the showcase in front of numerous coaches.
