Gathering a list of players and choosing which rank best fits the individual was an extremely difficult challenge, but we do our best to keep them updated every three months. We love finding out about new players, and we’ve done so since our last update. Here is our breakdown piece covering a few of the significant newcomers.
#27 | ZAAKIR WILLIAMSON | 6’7 PF | CALVERT HALL
The acquisition of Zaakir Williamson could prove to be a significant one down the road. Williamson is a physical presence at 6-foot-7, but also showcases intriguing skills with the ball and versatility.
#29 | AARON JASPER | 6’3 SF | ST. MARY’S RYKEN
Aaron Jasper is expected to take a big step forward this season at Ryken. Jasper is a long, rangy wing who the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways on both ends of the floor, and after a strong summer we should see him produce even more consistently.
#35 | RYAN CORNISH | 6’1 PG | RICHARD MONTGOMERY
Richard Montgomery has a very good point guard prospect on their hands in Ryan Cornish. The skilled 6-foot-1 sharpshooter will likely be considered among the top sophomores in Montgomery County this season.
#41 | ANTOINE JACKS | 5’8 PG | GOOD COUNSEL
Antoine Jacks displays all the intangibles coaches look for in a floor general. Jacks will be given plenty of opportunities to grow and develop over the next three years. He’s a 4.0 student, and a scrappy defender who isn’t afraid to pick up 94 feet.
#47 | MIKE MYRIE | 6’0 PG | ST. MARIA GORETTI
We saw Mike Myrie a few times this summer, and he found a way to catch our attention each time out. Myrie is a good athlete with long arms. He plays with good pace, and is explosive enough to come down the lane and put it on your head if you’re not careful. If you don’t know who he is by now, you will soon.
