Maryland/DC/VA Freshman Watch List (Part 3)
In anticipation of the upcoming high school season, we will be taking a closer look at various teams and players in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. In part one of our freshman watch list, we highlight some of the summer’s biggest class of 2022 standouts.
ROWAN BRUMBAUGH | ST. ALBANS
We’ve seen Rowan Brumbaugh run with St. Albans Varsity each of the past two summers, and he’s showed signs of good potential. The skilled 6’0 lead guard prospect still growing, both physically and mentally, but has a good chance to make an immediate impact on what could be a sneaky good team.
ANTONIO HAMLIN | MOUNT ST. JOSEPH
Antonio Hamlin will join a very talented back court at Mount St. Joseph this year. Look for the 6-foot-1 guard to make the best of whatever opportunity is presented to him.

PRESTON HOWARD | MCDONOGH
Preston Howard is another terrific prospect who is coming into McDonogh this season. A 6-foot-5 wing out of the Team Durant program, Howard has a chance to be very good if he continues to work and develop like most think he will.
We are so excited for @teamdurantaau 6’5 G/F Preston Howard to join our family. #mcd-all-in https://t.co/lHTrdoX1pW

LOU HUTCHINSON | MARET
We saw that Lou Hutchinson had a good week at CP3 camp, and we’re excited to see what he can do in his time at Maret. Hutchinson reportedly hit a recent growth spurt which puts him at 6-foot-3 now, and we hear he’s got legit point guard skills.

STEFAN MARCELLE | GEORGETOWN PREP
Stefan Marcelle is a kid who intrigued us at Capitol Hoops Summer League. A developing front-court prospect out of the Team Durant program, Marcelle probably has a good chance to make an immediate impact on a team that is looking for a dominant paint presence.
Team Durant 2022 post Stefan Marcelle Jr. is one you’re going to want to keep track of. Throwback big man at 6’6” who shares bloodlines with Roy Hibbert. #MemorialDayTakeover pic.twitter.com/9oGFGvsvdu
