Lander Picking Up Big Ten Offers, Adds Indiana
2021 PG Khristian Lander has been the hottest name in the 2021 class and now he’s picked up the Hoosier contingent after a visit down to Bloomington this past weekend where they offered him a scholarship.
For the Hoosiers, this is an easy pull after their normal competition, Illinois and Purdue, had already made an offer to the 6’2 Point Guard out of Evansville Reitz (IN). They have three offers open in the 2021 class with only two offers out showing that this could be a priority recruit for them.
Lander played this summer with EG10 2021 and was the best player in most games, using his ball skills to get to the rim and shooting it well enough to really take off and put up some big point totals.
As for his recruitment, the Hoosiers have a giant fanbase in southern Indiana and could really be an influence with four years of recruiting ahead of them. However, time will tell if Lander will be a high-major recruit or a national level type. It’s a little early to know for sure but so far so good for the 2021 prospect.
