Greenwood picks up major transfer
One of the top young prospects in the country has moved to Springfield, Mo. for the upcoming season.
Aminu Mohammed, a five-star Class of 2021 prospect, will be attending Greenwood Laboratory School this season. The 6’5″ 175-pound wing player is ranked among the top 10 players in the nation in the sophomore class.

Mohammed comes to Springfield after playing his freshman year at Archbishop Carroll in Washington, D.C. As a freshman, he averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds a game in leading Carroll to a 17-13 season. He was named to the All Washington Catholic Athletic Conference First Team.
During the summer grassroots season, Mohammed played for Boo Williams (VA) in the Nike EYBL 16U Division. He was named to the Prep Hoops All-American 16U Team for his outstanding player during the summer. Mohammed was also selected to compete in the Nike Elite 100 last June in St. Louis.
Mohammed has already picked up an early offer from Florida during his freshman season.
