Quick Hits
Any interesting facts you want to share?
CM: I’m a very quiet person, have only traveled outside of SD for basketball tourneys.
Any Superstitions?
CM: I don’t really have any. My mentality is that I was prepared for this moment and what happens is a result of playing that game. Nothing can stop things from happening or cause things to happen
Who is Chris Mohr on and off the court?
CM: As a person, I’m laid back and quiet person. I just get down to my business and get it done without causing issues. As a player, it’s the same way. Don’t talk much, I let my game prove for itself.
Favorite Player/Athlete?
CM: My favorite player in the NBA is Klay Thompson. Klay is a player that I learn from and watch a lot of!. He is humble and just goes out and plays his own game and keeps out of all the mess in the NBA. As for college, my favorite player is Matt Mooney. I can’t think of a better guy to look up to than him. Humble and just does his thing. He is the definition of a walking bucket and doesn’t trash talk to make himself look good. Watching him play just makes me realize that you can play the game and destroy your opponent through actions and not words. He has shown me over the past couple of years I’ve known him that hard work will pay off and get you places. After getting a chance to work out with him, he’s not like any other person. He is nice and just wants to help you get better in every aspect of the game. He is a person that I look up to and want to imitate my game after.
Favorite food?
CM: Favorite thing to eat is potatoes. I loved them as a kid and just continued to eat them growing up.
Favorite sport?
CM: Basketball is by far my favorite sport. Basketball is something that not everyone can have so I cherish it. Basketball gets you closer to other people around the world and lets you show others what you have to offer. Basketball is like a power sport it can help you in every part of your life and it’s something that you can have a lot of fun in. The best part of basketball though is being able to form a brotherhood or family with your teammates. That to me is the biggest part of basketball and that’s why it is my favorite sport.
