At the #39 is Overhills HS Guard Cinque Lemon, he has the ability to score the ball at a nice rate and we expect him to continue to develop and mature. This upcoming season he should see plenty of opportunities to show what he can do and we expect him to excel.
Coming in at #45 is Daymon Beckwith, the youngster from the Jacksonville area jumped on my radar about two years ago and he has only gotten better with time. He can score the ball at a very high level and has a nice amount of upside, with such a loaded group of guards in his class, we look forward to seeing him get some matchups and showing what he can do.
Wakefield HS Forward Harper Strickland is at the #50 spot, we got our first chance to see him at the Elite 50 camp last year and we love his talent and upside. His skillset is solid overall and at 6’4 already, we wont be surprised to see him add some more inches to his height as well.
Garner HS & Team Empire Forward Julius Peacock is #53 in the rankings, we got see him up close and personal this Spring at Big Shots Raleigh. We left very impressed with his skillset and performance, he made plays from the high post, rebounded the ball well, and scored efficiently in the paint.
Rounding out this group at #60 is East Carteret Guard Bennie Brooks, we saw him for the first time at Farmville MLK Day Showcase and was very impressed. He has nice size for a player at the guard spot, and knocks down shots from deep with a high amount of consistency.
