Players such as Josh Nickelberry (Lousiville) & Greg Gantt (Providence) are some examples of top 5 guys that are already off the board. Wendell Moore is the #1 player in the state for 2019 and he is still going through his recruitment process but after that there are still plenty of talented players in this class that are uncommitted so lets dive right in!
Moravian Prep Wing Josh Hall: His stock continues to rise and rightfully so, here u have a player that is a legit 6’7-6’8 that can do a lot of things that guys half his size can do. He can shoot the ball from deep, attacks the basket well and continues to get better and stronger each time we see him. (Mid Major Recruitment )
Wayne Christian Guard Jamal King: He returns to the area of the state where he played his first years of high school basketball and should have a tremendous season. We know that he can score the ball in bunches so don’t be shocked to see him go for 40 or 50 points multiple times this season. (Low/Mid Major Recruitment)
South Central Guard Shykeim Phillips: This young man has two of the attributes that you love to see from a player, first of all he knows how to win games. Over the past few years he has been a huge part of the success of South Central HS, secondly he can score the ball at a very high level. He understands how to use his quickness and angles to get where he needs to be so that he can be productive. (Mid-Major Recruitment)
Quality Education Guard El Ellis: He decided to take his talents over to Quality Education and we expect him to be just as successful there and he was at his previous school. Quickness and athletic ability are some of the things that you absolutely love to see from him, he’s wired to score and can go for 30 in a heartbeat. (Mid-Major Recruitment)
Greensboro Day School Forward Nic Evtimov: One of the more skilled big in the state, we got to see him up close this spring and left impressed. His ability to be a player maker from the high post but also a scorer from inside the paint, has college coaches keeping a close eye on him. (Low and Mid-Major Recruitment)
