Where Do I Go: Fayetteville, NC Part 2
Trinity Christian: Each year Trinity host their College Day which is their only open gym workout prior to the season beginning. This year it will fall on September 24th at 4pm at the same location as usual the John D Fuller Rec Center off Bunce Road. 2019 Greg Gantt is the teams highest level prospect but he has already committed to Providence so we don’t expect too many fireworks in his direction as far as coaches coming in. 2019 Guards Talton Jones and DJ Horne have both picked up LM/MM offers and interest with Horne having his recruitment heat up at a nice level. 2020 Forward Todd Burtt is a new addition that should catch the eye of college coaches and 2019 Guard KJ Marshall has picked some interest from D2 programs as well as some preferred walk on spots at the D1 level.
71st HS: The Falcons have a few players that can play on the next level and the main two that we have been impressed with are 2019 Forward BJ McLaurin and 2019 Guard Demarieau Nickelson. McLaurin is a stretch forward player that can knock down shots and has picked up strong interest on the D2 level while Nickelson is a guard that has D3 programs on him at this point with his ability to get it done on both ends.
Westover HS: This will be one of the younger teams that the wolverines have put on the floor in a while but they do have a player that programs at the Low Major level have already been tracking. 2020 6’6 Forward Traymond Willis-Shaw will be looked on to take on a much larger role this season on both ends of the floor, we feel like he’s up to the task and will be a player that can raise his stock if he performs how we believe he can.
Fayetteville Academy: The Eagles will have at least 3 players on their roster this season that can play on the D2 or D1 level next season. Guard John Michael Wright has picked up D1 offers at the Low and Mid level while Forward/Center Emmanuel Izunabor has also picked up offers from Mid Major level programs. Forward Williams Oyeonodi is a player that holds offers from D2 programs at this point and will be looking to play his way into more offers as the year goes on.
