250 Expo: Class of 2020 Top Performers
Phillip O Berry Guard Maurice Brown: If there was a camp mvp award, he would have gotten my vote without a doubt, he was pretty much unguardable throughout the camp. If you pressed up on him, he would blow by for an easy bucket, but If a defender gave him space, he would knock down the trey ball. Very talented player that colleges should be keeping a very close eye on over the next two years.
Overhills HS Guard Jase Ford: In the first game of the day, he put on absolute show offensively, showing the colleges and media in attendance how special he can be. His ability to take players off the dribble as well as knocking down the outside shots with high consistency makes him a nightmare to guard.
Wesleyan Christian Forward Luke Davis: He didn’t stay for too long but played in the first game of the day, his height and athletic ability will catch your attention pretty quickly. Rebounding and finishing inside at a nice rate are what he does well at this point but he also showed he can knock down some jumpshots.
Greenfield School Wing Jacari Outlaw: Expect for him to have a breakout year at Greenfield this year, he can do so many different things on the court and is versatile, he is a player you want on your squad without a doubt. The fact that he has played in plenty of bigtime games is a positive because he doesn’t get rattled and with his height, he can play multiple spots on the floor and be effective.
Combine Academy Wing Asanti Price: Has good height and wingspan to go along with a high skillset, he got where he wanted throughout the day and caused matchup problems. At 6’5 he was a difficult player for smaller players to try and guard in the post as well as being quick enough to make plenty of plays on the perimeter.
New Life Christian F/C Jeremyah McWilliams: He continues to get better each time we see him, running the floor, blocking shots and finishing in the paint are all things that he can do. What we really like is that he is beginning to play with more aggression at moments, he has a chance to make major strides over these next two years.
